Just watched this news rant by John Oliver about Net Neutrality. I find it sickening that companies like Time Warner Cable and Comcast have essentially created a monopoly in the cable and internet provider sector. There are little to no choices in who you want to provide internet services. Most people are limited to one or two companies to choose from when looking for service in their area. Now these companies are pushing for laws that will allow them to limit the bandwidth that they deliver streaming media over forcing companies like Hulu and Netflix to pay if they want their services to not suffer for these customers. Isn't it enough that TWC already charges their customers tiered levels of bandwidth?
So what are your thoughts?

The introductory blog
Hi I just moved in. ::waves hand::
I am a soon to be graduate of SNHU with my Masters of Science degree in Computer Information Technology. This blog is for my usual ramblings, reviews, and other general thoughts. I've been know to take on new hobbies from time to time and this one will be no different.
Not sure what I'll be posting about but it will probably involve the techy-er side of things in my life. I'm a mom of three and happily married for 7 years although I won't likely be talking about that stuff too much it will trickle in every so often.
So grab a coffee and pull up a seat.
